Transaction Selection
When viewing an account register, you can highlight multiple transactions to see the total and information about the selected transactions.
You can highlight multiple transactions in the following ways -

Press and hold the
Ctrl
key while selecting transactions to highlight multiple transactions.
On a Mac, use the Command (⌘) key. -
Highlight one transaction, then press and hold the
Shift
key.
Then click another transaction, and all transactions between will be highlighted. -
Or if you have already used the filters or search bar to limit the transactions displayed in the register, highlight one transaction and press the keys
Ctrl
andA
. This will highlight all transactions currently displayed in the account.
Once you have highlighted the relevant transactions, you'll see the "Balance" heading at the bottom right of the account register has changed so it now displays 'Selection', with the total of the highlighted transactions on the right (as shown in the screenshot below).
Click on 'Selection'.
You will then see a window displaying information about the selected transactions.
- Cash Value: The total of all highlighted transaction amounts.
- Count: The number of transactions that are highlighted.
- Average: The average of all highlighted transaction amounts.
- Account: The name of the account that contains the transactions.
- Account Type: The type of account that contains the transactions (e.g. bank, credit card, etc.)
- Currency: The account currency.
