Since installing the Java update 4 on my Mac OS 10.5.7 system, the file "save" button is periodically grayed out and cannot be selected. Sometimes, it is not. Not obvious what distinguishes when it is or not. After file changes, selecting Moneydance quit, always brings up dialog box asking if I want to save the file, which works. It is disconcerting to sometimes not be able to save changes without quitting the application.

    Russ,

This is a known issue with the Java update. Apple is working to resolve it, and in the meantime you can choose the Java 5 version in the Java preferences until they correct the error.

    Sincerely,
