I am using MD 751 on a Windows 7 system. I had to reload my hard disk. MD installed without a problem but when trying to print checks I get the above error.
Anybody know what that means and how i can get the printout to work again?
I am on Java 6 update 24

    Gerd,

I'm not entirely sure if this is a Moneydance issue or a printer issue. When you reloaded your hard drive, did you reinstall the appropriate printer drivers? Do let me know, and we'll move forward with troubleshooting,

    Hi Angie,
thanks for pointing me into the right direction. Even though I saw all the correct printer details I was not able to print to it from Word either. I had to re-install the printer driver. My checks print correctly now.
Any news on when the new version is coming out?

    Hi Angie,

Where are all my check settings stored? With the restore I have lost all my settings. Any chance I can restore them from somewhere on my backup?

    Gerd,

The check settings are part of your Moneydance preferences folder, which usually lives in your My documents folder. If you reformatted your hard drive this was probably (sadly) wiped out, and you'll need to set the preferences again. I'm sorry I don't have better news, but please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

    Thanks Angie,

Nothing ever gets lost on my PC. I sure have everything backed up several times over.

Found it and copied it to the reloaded PC. Checks are formatted correctly again.

I still have the add-ins missing. Where are those stored?

    Hi gerd,

Those are also stored in your .moneydance folder. If you copied the folder over, they should have re-appeared. However, you can also just reinstall them through Moneydance.
