Data Files Associated with your Subscription

Once you have subscribed to use Moneydance+ you can add multiple data files to the subscription.

Your subscription can be used with up to five separate data files.

The same data file synced between computers counts as only one data file.

Add Additional Data Files to your Subscription -

Open the data file you'd like to add to the subscription via File > Open.

Then choose Online > Set Up Moneydance+.
Select the "Setup" tab.

Enter the email address associated with your subscription.
Select "Connect to Moneydance+".

Then access your email account, and look for an email titled "Moneydance+ Confirmation".
Click the link in the email, and you'll be prompted to enter the code contained within the email.

Once completed, you'll be redirected to a web page where you will see that the data file has been added to your subscription.

Then open Moneydance again and choose Online > Setup Moneydance+.

Select the "Setup" tab and you'll see the following message -
"Thanks for subscribing! Now to connect your accounts!"

Select the "Accounts" tab.
Then follow the steps in this article to connect with your banks, and assign your accounts.
Then you can begin downloading your transactions.

View Data Files Associated with your Subscription -

Open Moneydance and choose Online > Setup Moneydance+.

Then select "Manage Accounts" at the bottom left of the window.

This will open a web browser window displaying your subscription details.

The data file that's currently open will be displayed near the top of the window.

At the bottom of the window, you'll see the names of any other files associated with your subscription.

Remove Data Files from your Subscription -

Open Moneydance and choose File > Open.
Select one of the data files you don't want to remove from the subscription to open it.

Then choose Online > Setup Moneydance+.
Select "Manage Accounts" at the bottom left of the window.

This will open a web browser window displaying your subscription details
(shown in the screenshot above).

At the bottom of the window, you'll see "Other Files Connected to Your Account".
Look for the data file you want to remove.
Then choose "Deactivate" on the left of the data file name.

You will then be advised that by continuing, you will disable the data file from downloading transactions using Moneydance+.
To confirm the removal, select "Remove" on the left.
