Create a Graph or Report
The graphing and reporting functions in Moneydance allow you to view your financial data in many different ways.
- Reports are text-based.
- Graphs are visual representations of your data.
You can find a list of all available graphs and reports in this section of the knowledge base.
Create a Graph or Report -
To create a graph or report, navigate to Tools > Graphs and Reports.
In this window, you can choose the graph or report you'd like to use from the list on the left.
- Graphs display a green (line graph) icon.
- Reports display an orange (clipboard) icon.
When you select the graph/report name, you'll see the settings appear on the right of the window.
Amend the settings, then select "Generate" to view the graph/report.
Graphs and reports are also available in the sidebar (below your accounts).
Select the graph/report name in the sidebar.
This will display the graph/report in the main window (on the right).
Choose "Edit" at the top right of the window to amend the graph/report settings.
Amend the settings, then select "OK" to view the graph/report in the main window.
