You can increase or decrease the size of the columns in any account register.
To do this, hover your cursor on the lines that separate the column headings -
Date, Check, Description, Category etc.
The cursor will change to an arrow.
Then click and drag with the mouse to increase/decrease the size of the columns.
In the screenshot below, the line that separates the Description and Category columns is highlighted.
If you click and drag this line to the left you will increase the size of the Category/Tags column, and decrease the Description/Memo column.
If you click and drag this line to the right you will increase the size of the Description/Memo column, and decrease the Category/Tags column.
