Before purchasing, we encourage you to download Moneydance, which will run in trial mode.

The trial version is identical to the licensed version.
The only limitation is the number of manually entered transactions, capped at 100.

Downloaded and imported transactions are unlimited.
This allows you to fully test importing your data from other programs.
You can also fully test downloading data from your bank.

If you decide to purchase the program at a later date, you can keep all of your data.
Purchasing simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.

Purchasing Moneydance

You can purchase a Moneydance license key on this page.

This is a one-time purchase, including a free upgrade to the next major release.

For example, customers who purchased a Moneydance 2023 license key received a free upgrade to Moneydance 2024. These customers are able to use all updates and builds released for both versions.
 

After purchasing, you'll be sent a license key via email that you can use to register the program.
The key is valid for registering the current version and the next version.

If you want to upgrade beyond that, you can use your existing license key to redeem the discount we provide for our existing customers. To do this, enter your license key into the key testing field on this page.

However, we never force upgrades or 'sunset' older versions of the program.
Therefore, you can continue to use the same version of Moneydance for as long as it is compatible with your operating system.
 

When you make a one-off purchase for a license key, Moneydance+ is not included. However, you can subscribe at any time and you will be offered a reduced subscription rate (see below).

Please note that with this on-off purchase method, you can still download transactions automatically using OFX Direct Connect. You can also manually download files from your banks website.
 

Subscribing to Moneydance+

If you are running Moneydance 2022 or a newer version, you can subscribe to a service called Moneydance+.

This service allows you to automatically download transactions from your bank.
Currently, over eleven thousand North American financial institutions are available.

There is a 30-day free trial, so you can fully test downloading transactions via Moneydance+ before you're charged.

There are two ways to subscribe to Moneydance+ which are outlined below:
 

Moneydance+ add-on

If you already own a license key for Moneydance 2022 or a newer version, you can subscribe to Moneydance+ as an add on for a discounted price.

To do this, you can follow the steps in this article to subscribe to Moneydance+ from within the Moneydance program.
 

After the 30-day trial has ended, you will be charged monthly or annually (whichever you choose when you set up the subscription).

The cost will vary depending on the currency you use.
You will be able to check the cost for your currency when you try to subscribe from within the program.
The discounted cost is for customers with a license key is approximately USD$4 monthly or USD$40 annually.

This subscription option can be cancelled at any time and you'll retain access to the Moneydance program and all of your data with your existing license key.
 

Moneydance and Moneydance+ combined

Alternatively, you can subscribe to use the Moneydance program and Moneydance+ services as a combined package.

With this subscription option, you don't need to make a one-off purchase for a Moneydance license key before you subscribe.
 

With this subscription option, all future updates to the Moneydance program are included (provided the subscription remains active).
If the subscription is cancelled, the program will revert to trial mode. You'll then need to make a one-off purchase for a license key to continue using Moneydance.
 

After the 30-day trial has ended, you will be charged monthly or annually (whichever you choose when you set up the subscription).

The cost will vary depending on the currency you use.

The cost is approximately USD$9 monthly or USD $90 annually.
