Match Online Accounts

If you download OFX or QFX files from your banks website, when you import the file into Moneydance, you will be asked which account you want to import the data into.

Below this, you can enable 'Remember this choice'.

If you do this, the link between your bank account number and the specified Moneydance account will be remembered.

To view the links that are established in Moneydance, select Online > Match Online Accounts.

This will open the window below -

Your account numbers will be displayed on the left.

The associated Moneydance account is displayed on the right.

To change or remove a link, click once on the Moneydance account.
Then select the small arrow icons on the right of the account name.

This will open a list that includes all other accounts in your data file.

You can select a different account to link the specified account with the account number.

Or select 'None' at the top of the list.
If you do this, the next time you import transactions associated with this account number, you will be prompted to select which account you want to use.
